EMAC director presents at conference in Colombia


EMAC director, Dr. Nicholas Kalaitzandonakes, participated in a conference that discussed the implications of asynchronous approvals of new biotech traits and the potential for Low Level Presence of such traits in trade flows, which took place in Bogota, Colombia.

He discussed the potential trade and economic impacts of LLP for Colombia and other LA countries. Other conference speakers included Cecilia Llabrés, Biotechnology Division- Ministry of Fish and Forestry, Argentina and Jorge de Saja, CESFAC.
